It is best not to take things too slowly, as every minute or so, a patrol in the form of Ghouls and Zombies will attack you. As you progress through the level, the Patrol force becomes stronger, 1 Crypt Fiend and 2 Ghouls... then 2 Crypt Fiends and 2 Ghouls. Waiting in one place too long wild deteriorate your forces.

Level 8: Level 3 Death Coil, Level 2 Death Pact, Level 2 Unholy Aura, Raise Dead

Micro Guide:
For the majority of this mission, your units will consist of Ghouls, Necromancers and Abominations.

1. When engaging an enemy, try to kill the weakest first, allowing you to summon skeletons. Use Arthas as the meat shield. Whenever he is low on life, consume a skeleton using Death Pact.

2. Against tough enemy opponents, such as Abominations, cripple them first.

Raise dead is great for creating invincible units that can be used to weaken the next group of enemy forces. Here they kill supporting crypt fiends.

3. Keep your casters behind Arthas, but not too much behind.Patrol forces will always attack from the back, and you don't want to have your Necromancers exposed.

4. Enemy Crypt Fiends and Meat Wagons will target your Necromancers first. When fighting against these, either keep them well out of battle, or always have them and Arthas selected, so you can Death Coil them.

5. Near the start of the mission, you will gain a Staff of Reanimation, which allows you animate one Dead unit for 1 minute. Use this to create a Meat Wall at the Beginning of each Battle.

6. Later, you will find a Staff of Negation! Keep it! Use it to dispel enemy skeletons

7. Later, you will also find a shade. Use him to identify tough fights ahead. With these, cast Raise Dead, and use the invincible minions to weaken them. That is, kill their supporting units, such as Necromancers.

8. Remember Abominations can Cannibalism, use this ability often, to save Arthas's mana.

9. Unholy Frenzy Arthas to deal extra Damage.

Arthas's Flight:
Break through the door into the Hall way, and then the door opposite. You're back in your throne room. Cripple the Abomination and kill it. Attack the two book stands to get two tomes. Now follow the Dotted Red Line

Take a Detor to B, kill the Zombies, get a Ring of Protection +2. Rescue an Abomination at C, and Crypt Fiends at D. Break through the room at E and flick the switch, a compartment will open at F. Go there, pick up Boots of Quel'Thalas +6.

As you round the Corner, you'll be given the optional quest of securing some Meat Wagons at F. These are guarded by a Level 5 Dread Lord. Cripple and Kill him... get the Meat Wagons. Though this quest is optional, its essential for your survival.

Before you continue, backtrack to the main rout and destroy all the create there, you should find a Staff of Negation.

Why? The next room at G has towers! Use the Meat Wagons to blow them up, but proceed with caution. About 6 Crypt Fiends will unborrow when you venture in. instead, use your newly acquired shade to spot them, and then kill them with your Meat Wagons from afar (Protected by your troops of course), or invisible Raise Dead troops. Activate the switch on the Bottom Right Corner of the room to continue.

There's an Undead Shop at H, this is your only chance in the whole map to use your gold, so doing bother conserving. if you want a Potion, get it.

At I, there's a rune of the Revenant, which will summon a Ice Revenant to do your bidding. These guys are powerful, use them well! Let him take the hits... since he's a summoned creature. Use Frost Nova to destroy clumps of enemy Ghouls and Necros. As you turn the

Break through the creates at K, find a tome of strength. Look up a bit, there's another Rune of the Revenant! Break the cages at L to free 2 Ghouls.

Charge through the doors at M, your brethren are under attack! Save them with Frost Nova and Wand of Negation... goodbye skeletons. kill their Necromancers. Make sure your third Abom lives.

It is unnecessary to kill the final boss. Just run past them with Arthas.

At N, you have your final fight. Here you face a Doom Guard and his minions, weaken them first by killing the Necromancer with Invincible Raise Dead. Cripple the Doom Guard and slaughter them

Final fight I said? What about the guys who guard the final gate? The Level 7 Dread Lord and the Super Abominations? No need! Wait for Raise Dead to recharge, and use it on the next Patrol force that attacks you. With these invincible units, break through the gates.

Then simply attack, as the Dread Lord summons an Infernal and your forces clash with theirs, have Arthas run past into the Circle of Power. Mission Complete.

Mission Secrets - By Chib
1. To the left of the Tomb of Relics (you rescure a Crypt Fiend and a Shade), you can walk Arthas through the planks of woods down and right to a floor switch. It will raise the platform which you previously had to lower to get past. Over the other side, you'll find some gold coins and a Pendant of Energy.
2. From here, you can use a Meat Wagon to attack ground the little walls (destroy the one on the left side between the two buildings, and then the next one across to the left to make a pathway through (it takes 5 shots from the Meat Wagon). You'll find some gold coins and a couple crates inside.
3. When you get to the Fountain of Life, head up and right behind the dead tree there, along a little path to find a Rod of Necromancy.
4. Once at the main gate where the two Nerubian Towers are, head over to the far right of that section, cut through the trees a the bottom right with the Meat Wagons and you'll find a Periapt of Vitality.
5. Go through the left City Gate, and about one screen to the left, at the bottom of the path are a couple trees; cut them down to find a barrel with a Scroll of Restoration in it.
