New Poll - Deathwing @ 4:11:24 EDT
When was it that Blizzard initially planned to release the second part of the Orc Bonus Campaign that came with the Frozen Throne? I think it was last month... and a lot of people have been asking about it. But is there any need for Blizzard to hurry? Or should they concentrate on balance patches? How much do you want to see the rest of the campaign? Be sure to vote.

Poll Results - Deathwing @ 3:50:48 EDT
It's the start of a new week, time for a new poll. Here are the results to the current one:

So... Which Warcraft 3 Hero is most useful overall?

Death Knight   120   13%
Demon Hunter   114   12%

Dark Ranger   74   8%
Daboo?   95   10%

Interesting... looks like the Archmage is still the number one choice. With he's ability to fast expand, and powerful AOE and summons as powerful as knights, he's certainly versatile. The Far Seer and the Death Knight came distant second and third... and interestingly enough, the far overpowered Beastmaster was left at fourth place. I guess a lot of people just haven't got used to using neutrals.

Non-Disclosure Agreement in WoW Beta - Deathwing @ 4:02:09 EDT
If one read the recent WOW FAQ carefully, one would notice the following statement:

World of Warcraft is currently in the alpha-testing stage (internal testing open to the entire company). The beta test, which is scheduled to start sometime in Q4 2003, will initially be open to players in the U.S., Canada, and Korea.

Participation will require an NDA.

So what does the NDA actually mean? Well basically, every beta tester will have to sign an agreement saying that they'll not release any information about the pre-please version of WOW. 2extreme21 decided to get some details:

2Xtreme21: How will you be handling fansite and Blizzard Friend applications?  Are they still required to sign NDAs?

Collin_s:  Blizzard Friends and Fansite members will still need to sign an NDA form.  I will bring this up with the development team.  There may be some provision we can make for minors ... like parental consent etc...

2Xtreme21:  To make it clear, NO information may be displayed on fansites pertaining to World of Warcraft?

Collin_S:  No information from pre-release versions other than what is already posted on our site may be displayed.  There may be some cases where we grant interviews, that may be altered a bit.

2Xtreme21:  Will you notify the community of any changes that occur after you talk to the Development team?
Collin_S:  Yes.  We will post in on our site or write in on the NDA itself.

And yes, by Federal Law, signing a NDA requires you to be over 18, so lets hope you're that age by the time the beta hits. More information? Click here.

Pandaren Brewmaster   168   18%
Daboo?   92   10%

Well, that's interesting... the Beast master took first place without too much trouble. Indeed, more Night Elves get this guy than any of their own heroes. The Bear and the Hawk are the most powerful summons in the game, one to kill the heroes, the other Tier 3... nasty! Dark Ranger was second with silence... while the Pit Lord, well, let's just say he's big and fat.
