A World of Starcraft? - Deathwing @ 22:53:56 EDT
Blizzard has promised that it will revist the Starcraft and Diablo gameworlds, however they never specified how:

A sequel to Starcraft is right at the top of many gamers' "Please, God, Make This Happen" list. Well, the Lord works in mysterious ways. If not a true sequel, gamers may be getting some more Starcraft action after all.

During a presentation to Wall Street today, a company representative from Vivendi reportedly said, "All Blizzard franchises will become MMOGs." The rep said they have a model in place to produce an MMOG for $50 million over the next three years.

World of Warcraft is one of the great success stories of our time. The big question is: with WoW already sucking hours/weeks/years of gamers' lives away, how will we ever find time to play World of Starcraft or World of Diablo? Alas, that these evil days should be ours!

For all those people who are panicking, notice that the article specified only that they will be Mass Muiltiplayer Online... not necessarily an RPG. Could we possibly have a MMORTS?

Baron Run will not be extended - Deathwing @ 9:44:30 EDT
There has been much recent rumor that the 45 Minute Baron run will be extended in the next patch. Blizzard has officially responded stating that this is very unlikely to happen:

The quest which challenges players to kill Baron Rivendale within 45 minutes is not intended to be completely easy. With that being said, we're are very pleased with the current level of difficulty presented by the quest and it's very doubtful that we'd lengthen the amount of time given.

There you go, so get practicing.
