Hey Bob, I wanna start off by thanking you for taking your time for this interview.

Age / Sex / Location?

22/M/Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN

Tell me a little on your background.

I started out playing SC on Kali was the first person to take #1 on case's ladder away from agent911. He held #1 for first 2 months of SC then i went to B.net. Played first half of 2nd season B.net under name NarcisPrince, got to #3 using only random race and making opponent pick map every game stopped B.net cause of lameness in the short run.

Then when Ashrigo and gauntlet came around season 3 making random rather frustrating, I stopped B.net almost altogether played both pgl seasons... first time made top 16, losing to #1 qualifier Tillerman. 2nd season started quals 22-0, was #1 qualifier for a while dropped way back in quals and lost to incinerate 2nd round. Was a BW beta tournament semifinalist, losing to Agent911 attended the first pgl in person.

I'm in the who's who of SC... no idea why exactly though now I'm Head TD of case's Broodwar Kali ladder we are holding tournaments almost daily. We have myself, IN-QQQQ, Absolution, and now Pillars running tournaments participants over the last 2 days have included Thor, Jolly, Gadianton, Arky, etc

Anything else on your background?

not really, that's about 10 times more than i would normally list

My video card is jacked, and freezes half my BW games so I don't play much of that anymore...will have to get a new one for war2 B.net though.

yah, sorta annoying though. Gotta keep coming outta games and reporting losses cause comp froze when I'd like to finish some of em ;-)

I hear you're hosting tournaments now?

yah... I'm running the case's BW Kali tournament staff. Right now myself, IN-QQQQ, Absolution, and Pillars are going to be running tournaments for the ladder.

Did it start yet?

we will have 3 or so each week and we tend to feature some names yes, the first tournament i hosted was yesterday, and there was another one tonightthor beat gad in the finals yesterday, and Jolly beat Bmpo today

Are you working on any web sites for this tournament?

the tournament is done completely through case's ladder anyone can enter, they just need to join the cases's bw ladder at http://www.igl.net/kbroodwar that page will also display tournaments for the next two days as far as tournaments in the far future October 3rd case's and icantwin.com are teaming up to host a 3v3 Starcraft fortress tournament

I see you don't play Starcraft anymore unless they are "special occasions" kind of games. Do you play any other games?

everyone needs a break now and again. I will be playing war2 B.net. I love playing BW use map settings maps. I play Tetrinet and Canasta as well. That's about it... I'm a blizzard guy, very few other games have really appealed though when I get a new video card I will be playing some quake2 I'm sure.

Have you ever tried Q3 Test?

No, I don't have the computer for it. I have never had the quality of computer to be able to play the newest fps games

What are your thoughts on WarCraft III?

though I have great memories of playing 4 person Multiplayer doom1 through a bbs while in highschool dwango or something, I don't think war3 will possibly be out when Blizzard says it will be. They don't even know how Multiplayer is going to be structured much less have it balanced.

What about Diablo 2? Your thoughts on it?

Didn't like Diablo, only ever played it because I won it in a SC tournament. I doubt I'll play diablo2 either, they just seem like point and click games to me. I don't think games that don't have intensive strat behind them in a human vs human situation finding different ways to exploit computer Ai doesn't appeal to me starting on an equal playing field w/ your opponent each time u fight DOES appeal to me.
